May i ask..do you feel your frame has benefited your image? I feel it has, but i'd like to know (if you think it does) why does it benefit it?

Btw, a flower without a web is not a flower sorry Ken
    Hi Claudio,

I'm pleased it has made you consider having a go at this genre but don't give up the bugs Unfortunately there's a lack of flowers here that make reasonable subjects but I have spotted a couple of interesting weeds and am sure no one would realise the difference.

As for the frame I tend not to put much thought into this subject but considering I took the deliberate action to add it I had to have thought it benefited this particular image at the time. If I do use one I stick to the plain white canvas extension as this or occasionally the white drop-shadow.

I like the 'a flower without a web is not a flower' idea, does the same go for flowers without insects as well This critter must have landed after I focussed and moved away to take the shot, I only saw this once it was on the computer.

It seems that I spoke too soon... Especially beautiful! So instead I will say "magical!"

For all the same reasons, but this one I especially love the for the way the beautiful colours fill the frame, the droplets, and yes, the little critter perched on that petal just makes it so extra special.
