I am always a bit shocked to see the modern structures of the new Saigon skyline. They clash with my memories of 50+ years ago.

Despite the fact that the country was at war and the war massively impacted Saigon, I loved the ambiance of that city, especially away from the city center. I could see how Saigon was once called, "Paris of the Orient"...

From where was your image shot? I lived on Phan Dinh Phung near Le Van Duet...

With that kind of angry light and clouds any skyline would look dang good. Saigon appears to be an ignored city. Plenty of street shots but the classical landscape, nothing for a long time. Very nice. I agree, more please.
