Happy birthday Izzie, hope your day continued the way it started. Orchids for birthday! Wow! Hope Tucker has a good outcome. The Creator is very clever. Thank goodness. Many more orchid flowers to come.
Thank you Greg and Pania for commenting. Greg, no fresh lobsters. I guess I will just have to wait until I go to Geelong in August when I go back home for a visit to Melbourne...and take some shots of the lobster area around there...
Pania -- thank you. Yes, I got two more budding so that will be nice to photograph too.
Happy belated birthday, Izzie and best wishes for your precious pet.
Thanks Terri...yes he is well-loved. He is the most important. I will have many more birthdays but pets stay with us only for a short time. After Tucker, no more Rotties for me. I only got him because we lost Cooper and hubby cried 10 times a day even if Cooper was my dog. I thought Cooper was the smartest dog in the whole world but he is a one-master dog, but Tucker divides his attention and love between the two of us. He is smarter than we give him credit for.
Happy birthday young lady! As my father-in-law used to say "Any day above ground is a Good day!" May you be blessed in some way, every day!
Missed this Izzie. Belated Happy Birthday and I'm glad a little sunshine greeted you on it. Nice bloom and nice shot. Fingers crossed for Tucker. Hope you have good news soon.
Many thanks, John...I spent my birthday inside an animal hospital but it was a good day generally.... Hopefully we will get some good news this morning from his doctor as promised by his oncologist. Not knowing is the hardest part and being bitten (not intentionally...) each night for over two weeks while hand feeding him is taking a toll on Bill and me. I really want to throw in the towel last night and Bill cried and cuddled Tucker and told him we do not want him to die, to please eat his dinner. I ended up going upstairs here in my den to remove myself from the scene after I shove the last bit of rice and chicken down his mouth.
Pray for us..thanks.
