    With the exception of the bridge superstructure the image seems flat. I have been experimenting with filters too - they can make pics more interesting depending on what you are aiming at. Good on you for submitting.

    I like your interpretation in this medium John, but I think the image you chose is too heavy for watercolour, don't you think? In real life I am a pencil and charcoal enthusiasts but dealt with water colour, gouache and oil for simple landscape sceneries and the like. But this is just me...

    I like the effect very much John,is this a filter in PS? The bridge and the poles seem a bit tilt ,is it because of wideangle?Nice image like a postcard

    I also noticed that if certain areas, such as the sky doesn't contain enough hue, the area will appear greyed out or basically the color of the paper you set as your background.

    One of the reasons I don't do many watercolors, mainly pastels and colored pencil. Thanks for commenting.

    Your probably right about the tilt, even though I used a tripod I didn't check the level. Thanks for commenting.
