I really like the detail and composition of the second one Jon. Owing to the DOF in the first image that separates the left blossom in focus from the two on the right, I'd be tempted to zero in on the group on the right and go with a portrait view.
Very nice, Jon...I like both of the shots, especially the close-up of #2. What did you use to get that close? I am royally impressed!

Very nice Jon, I like the idea of No 1 but for some reason it does not work for me because of that large OOF are in the centre as Frank mentions.
I think it could work extremely well with two or three shoots together in focus in the front with the camera angled slightly upwards so the rear ones appear shorter if that's possible in either landscape or portrait especially if you can retain some foreground detail as this one.
Grahame
Nicely done.
The second one is great. Well done, Jon!
Izzie, he used his zoom lens at the 250 mm focal length.
The second for me as well Jon. Both nice shots though.
Both are beautiful, I love the first particular, but subscribe to the view of Grahame. The scene to me is so appealing!
Nice Jon,#2 for me![]()
Jon, I love the first one but, like everyone else, find the OoF in the middle distracting. So go back out there and shoot it again... Please.
Jon...Jon...wake-up...look outside at your brand new snowfall!![]()

We had some drops here in Missouri too yesterday afternoon...my husband and I were coming out of the animal hospital when we saw the snow drops. My husband's first words were: You got to be kidding! I just laughed...![]()
William, I did see the snow when I awoke early this morning (with good intentions of shooting the Lunar Eclipse) so I went back to bed hoping it was a dream. Well, no such luck.
I wish I could have hung around for about 20 minutes more so the sunlight would have reached these buds but sadly I had to leave for work
76 degrees to 27 degrees in a matter of about 10 hours...Welcome to Indiana! If you don't like the weather just hang out for a day and it will change!
