Corn Snake in Magnolia
I was out checking the garden the other day and discovered that a recently fed Corn Snake had decided to take a rest there.

In other news, the peaches are coming along nicely.

It will bite if you handle it wrong but it's not venomous.
It's one of the prettier snakes that people so inclined keep as pets.
There are several Florida snakes that climb trees. The corn snakes like to climb up and hide in the ruff of my palms.
Here is a black racer climbing one.

Nice shots. The snakes are beautiful but...but....but they better stay where you are, not where I am...
