    Cincinnati Reds Home Stadium

I have just spent a week in Cincinnati,Ohio. Travelling light I took my Canon 30D and my EF-S 18-200mm lens and was pleasantly surprised how versatile the lens really is and can understand why it is called the "holiday" lens.

An attractive cityscape. Consider cropping at the bottom to remove most of the muddy water and place more emphasis on the stadium and buildings.

Thanks Mike - I agree about the crop and posted new version below. You mentioned muddy water, which amused me as I had to tone down the original river because it looked so unreal. I have never seen such a muddy river before.

Ah...that's my hometown that I miss very much now that I live in the desert. The river isn't always that muddy. The region has had a lot of rain and snow this year so it stirs the waters.
Thanks for posting this shot. I can't wait to visit home this September...muddy river and all.

That is a very nice shot, Christopher...I have not been there and I think you did justice to the place with the second one with the crop at the bottom per Mike's suggestion...

wyogirl...it will be nice if you will go to your profile and fill up your whereabouts and the name you wanted us to call you in this forum. I reckon you are from Wyoming, one my favourite place in the world. And Welcome to CiC.

Nice skyline, wouldn't have noticed the stadium if you hadn't mentioned it.
