Eden Park Standpipe - Cincinnati
This is the Eden Park Standpipe built in 1894 and standing 172 feet above Eden Park in the wealthy Mount Adams community of Cincinnati.
This ornate water tower held water pumped into to it from the Ohio River and provided sufficient water pressure for the neighbourhood of Walnut Hills.

Purrrfect! You must like architecture very much. Your shots of them are so perfect! Love it.

Nice shot Christopher . We rarely see anything other than utilitarian design these days for things like water towers or any public service building. It probably has something to do with pride and it's a shame.

Terrific image. People to help provide perspective. Wispy cloud nicely framing the building. Perspective that emphasizes the height. Well done all around.

Just great. Very strong and attractive treatment. The angle of light nicely brings out the cool geometries of this lovely old structure.
