Much more appealing crop of the first one. The format is a bit tall and narrow, but in some layouts with text it could be an ideal fit.
When I photograph powerful, falling water, I stop the action. When I photograph a quiet stream or cascade, I blur the motion. Everyone has their own preference as to when to stop the action or not and it might be a good idea to develop a style about that that is a good fit for you.
Thanks for the extra input Mike. It certainly makes sense what you are saying. I think at this point I have a bit of tunnel vision. Being new to experimenting with trying to get silky water I am doing it with everything rather than looking at the whole picture. Due to rain being forecast for the next week it could take a bit to get back to the location. I will post the new results and I will keep at it until the brain, vision, and shutter come together
