It's a cool picture but....and I know this might sound odd, what I noticed first is his belly. And I hope this person isn't related to you as I truly mean no offense.
If nothing else liquify it in some.
Maybe it's just me........

Very nice. People come in all shapes and sizes.
Luckily Fernando did not take a picture of me....
I like the man on the beach. The orientation, minimalist approach and use of negative space for me, works.

Hi Fernando. I like the composition very much
but I find something strange with the posture. When I enlarged the image, I noticed that the back of the man seemed missing and upper part of his body didn't fit the lower part 
May be this is the way he stands and walks, I don't know. And B&W works very well with the image.
