Informal portraits: my niece and nephew
These two photos are important to me on a personal level. My three-year-old niece has never previously posed for me. Yet this time she not only posed, she followed detailed instructions (as much as any three-year-old does). You can tell by her clothing that her mother's favorite color is purple, which happened to be a good fit with the flowering tree. The girl is in the I-love-tiaras stage and she got this one just the day before. My five-year-old nephew has never given me the look shown below, much less when I had my camera trained on him.

Mike, very nice images of your niece, and nephew. You nailed their eyes.

Cute kids, Mike. You really have to be on the ball to catch their 'candid' moments like this.

Spot on technically, and full of charm. They draw in one's attention and interest for these attractive young people. Mike, is the little guy's complexion a little greenish to you? - Does he need a titch magenta, or color temp, or do my eyes just see it that way because of the background?

You're right about the boy's skin tone, Mark. Thanks, as I hadn't noticed it. Just a touch of magenta does the trick, so I'll take care of that.
