If I adjust mine I don't seem to get a spider, whatever setting

Seriously Brian, I have not looked at the histogram on this but I don't see anything glaringly zapped with the flash. It's use can certainly assist with the sharpness and it's well worth exploring it's capability.

I am going to have to be willing to shoot in other than natural light and this -2/3 setting does well on thus spider. I think I begin to get into the 'art' of shooting.
