    Hi Jason, thanks for commenting.

    I'm still very much on a learning curve with PP but for info all work with this was with Elements 7. As for getting such photographs sometimes we get lucky with subjects or just have to make the best of what's available but I have found that if you get it right in camera it's the best start.

    The first one was a bit flat but by bringing out some of the color, you have made the triangle of lines more prominent and strengthened the composition at the same time. My eye goes from the rainbow to the blue in the sky to the details on the shore and back to the rainbow. Each time I make the circuit I see things I missed in the previous pass!

    I had not appreciated the triangle of lines Frank but now see it clearly and your raising of this has prompted me to re-look at it again to see if I can improve on the objects along the horizon. Due to my earlier efforts with the edits and boosting the sky I was undertaking a rather severe noise removal globally prior to doing anything else and wonder if this has caused a loss of detail/clarity which would be important in the horizon area.
