    While The Man Surfs

So while the man surfs, I get to take photos of a few of my favourite things - namely him, the sunrise and my best Buddy

Kerry......I love the fisherman and the sunrise best. The bird in the sunrise added to the shot -- very nice...

I like #4, #5 and the sunrise more I would crop #4 from right side to eliminate the mosses . I would decrease brightness and highlights and add some contrast for your Buddy

Greeting from Florida Kerry; nice posts, have you considered trimming some of the headroom / moving the horizon up towards the upper 2/3's of the frame? What's the reach of the lens you were using and how far were you from your subjects? Hundred questions, hope C&C is welcome!

Yes agree to both I kinda like the mossy rocks, but need to cut those birds out that are flying out of the shot.
And yes Buddy needs toning down.

Yes C&C always welcome - I quite like the colours in the sky so in some shots I do like that empty space - just me I guess. My lens is a 75 - 300 and I was probably a good 20metres from the Fisherman, the surfers probably 40-50metres.
I havnt really picked up my camera in a good 12months, just the odds happy snap here or there, and I've never really played with sunrise/sunset shots before. But I'm having great fun And its such a beautiful time of the day too.

Numbers 2 and 4 are really nice. The angle horizon in no.2 is a bit of a distraction and losing some sky wouldn't hurt a thing. A pano crop on no.4 would work well. What a lovely day.
