    John, both are great compositions but I'm inclined towards #1, it just seems more...zen-like to me.
    To me (or to my monitor) the colors do seem a bit saturated; yellowy yellows and greeny greens.
    On the other hand I do like that you froze the water flow rather than the long exposure that is often seen. It just makes the scene that much more real.

    Another couple of winners John. They both work for me as they are. The partial fence in the first gives a subtle perspective to the shot as does the bridge.
