    Pukeko Breakfast

Taken in the Government Gardens at Rotorua, when I made the image I thought the Pukeko had picked up a leaf. Maybe I should have gone to specsavers rather than NZ

    Your thoughts/comments are welcome

The young ones don't seem to be too sure of what it is either, Peter. Nice shot.

Very interesting and well done. You provided a bit of behaviour which is always a huge bonus in wildlife shots.

My only contribution to this stellar effort is to quibble about the brightness of the leaves. Can you tone down the highlights and brightness a bit in processing? This will bring the birds into greater prominence as the viewer will be less drawn to the bright leaves.

Trevor thanks for commenting on the image, I think I may have processed this on a laptop when I was travelling. I will revisit the processing and see if Incan incorporate your suggestions, thanks once again
