My new Singh Ray filter photos

I actually bought it a couple of months ago but just haven't had much of a venue to try it on. A few practice photos that came out totally black or white and a lot of vignetting.
But went to a local park the other night with a photo club and it had small water falls, so I gave it a try!
( I travel in our RV and don't get to put down roots sometimes, so this meet up was new for me)

I know they are far from perfect but looking for any critique.
1- Blown sky bit am taking a course on PSE next month. Instructor said "keep this, we can fix that sky"

it is the time of year here that our River herring run upstream to lay eggs. This is one of the streams. Kids were all around, parents, signs, picnic tables etc... did my best.

Good on you, Nancy. Getting out there and practicing and finding out what happens when you use it, is what it's should be all about at this stage. My first few efforts with VARI ND were total disasters.

Mmmm? I'd wonder about that. Not sure how you'd recover that sky. But hey, ho, that's part of learning.

You've done exactly what you need to be doing in order to learn how to use the filter.
