There is a difference but it looks like the change was done to the gradient.
Rainbow location was changed. HDR?
It is a little 'firmer' in the edited version. For me, it is more noticeable with the reflected double rainbow than the main one.
The darker gradient went down and the location of the rainbow at the left changed location? I am not getting it....![]()
Izzie, in the second one I moved the left rainbow and in doing so, altered the sky.
It's still a work in progress...![]()
O......Keedokee........so! have you planned ahead on how you wanted this image to look like or you are just playing around to see how you go into making it an abstract?
(BTW I like the flower defraction you submitted in one of the mini competitions...just worth a mention..)
I like both images a lot.
Considering that you're still in the change-making mode, consider one minor point that is driving me crazy (which no doubt says a lot more about me than your very nice image). In the second image, notice where the rainbow on the left joins the land. That little bit of land happens to be the only perfectly straight line in the entire image. If it were mine, I would digitally remove that little bit of land so the viewer sees only the sky when looking beyond that dip in the ridge.
Mike...that's the kind of detail C&C that I want to hear about. Good point!![]()
Hi Chauncey,
I adore this image... Breathtakingly beautiful!
I also like the 1st image cropping it - portrait like (losing one sand dune and rainbow).... And also as is with the rainbow moved between the last two sand dunes on the right.
Both stunningly beautiful as is - just sharing what I also see.
