    Found this Flower Spider (Thomisidae) lurking in a rose.

    These guys don't construct a web. They are hunters but spin an anchor line when hunting.

    Looks rather similar to the Misumena vatia that we get in the UK. They can partially change colour to suit the background and this one appears to be taking on a pinkish tinge.

    Rather friendly looking spiders; unless you are a fly or bee!

    This could be. The Misumena are part of thomisidae. Some very interesting colors here at bugguide.
