"Autumn Leaves"
The scenery is magical around the New England Tablelands at present.
This image is of a row of Poplars changing their leaf colours from green to a beautiful yellow.
This next one is of The Glen Innes Drum & Pipe band taken at the recent Celtic Festival.
The old fellow leading the band is a spry 88 yrs old.

"Autumn leaves" I read and I think, were does this guy live, it's spring...oh never mind, he's from down under.... Then comes a Celtic Festival...now I'm really confused.
I really do like the pictures...well done.

Edwin, these are nice pictures. The poplars seem to have spread a long way over the decades that we have been travelling through that area.

A great row of poplars there Edwin. They are some of the first trees I came to recognise as a young lad as were in a park I frequented.

Very nice Edwin. Good composition and colour in the poplar shot.

Re: "Autumn Leaves"
I really like the composition and colors in the poplar shot Edwin. It seems as if one could walk on forever in the shelter of those lovely trees.
The action shot of the Celtic Pipe band brings back memories of a lot of time spent watching my sister practice (she played the big base drum) with her troupe when we were in our early teens. She even had to practice her fancy stick work at home and was banished to an area where no one would inadvertently get hit by those big twirling things!
