I saw three ships . . .
When I first downloaded this picture it didn't seem particularly interesting but I keep on coming back to it.
I have played with the saturation, etc, but could never decide exactly what is right. I tried black and white but preferred the colour version, even though, or perhaps because, the colours are not strong. It was taken at 11.30am looking north towards the sun which give the sails a diaphanous look which I think is nice. There is a bit of a story in that the boat on the right is a little discombobulated because, being on a port tack, it had to give way to the other boat on a starboard tack.

Re: I saw three ships . . .
There is nothing wrong with it, in my eyes, Tony...I just don't like the size when it enlarges in lytebox, it is still the same image size...try to do a 1600 or 1200 on the longest side so I (we) can see more of your shot. The backlighting is really nice and overall, it is a beautiful clean shot.
Now let us leave it to the experts or those that viewed will finally say something...

Re: I saw three ships . . .
Izzie, it looks as though I might have to change the way I post. If I tell Flickr to refer to more than 800 pixels on the horizontal side it does not all show. But if I use 800 pixels, then Lytebox does not show a larger image. I notice that the same happens with Sharon's pictures, which also come via Flickr. I don't understand Lytebox. I will have to do some research.
You should be able to see the full resolution image from Flickr, in this case 2876 x 1797 pixels, if you click on the file number just under the bottom left corner of the picture.
