You are funny...it did not bother you about other things in the shot but her feet. I'll add to my comments later. I am a bit tired now...![]()
Hi Leslie, I think I'd go a bit further and crop to get mostly the structure, the gal from the waist and above and eliminate most of the sign. You retain that beautifully framed sunrise with the added interest of the girl photographing the scene to draw attention to the sun but you eliminate the issue with the attention grabbing sign and the girls feet.
Hi Leslie, I completely agree with Frank . A lovely sunset doesn't need legs and signs![]()
Not bad, you could crop at other sections also.
Thx Izzie
Binnur,
Thanks
I like the crop a lot. with most of the distraction gone it's beautiful.
I was in a park yesterday lamenting of how all the best photographic shots had ugly signs....right there in your face. I believe it's a world wide conspiracy against togs...![]()
Crop works much better Leslie![]()
Hi Leslie,
The crop works better in my view also, that's a really nice composition now.
Unfortunately, it also makes the lateral Chromatic Aberration (CA) far more obvious - these are the red/green edges visible on dark/light transitions, these get worse nearer the edge of the (original) frame (and don't exist in the centre of the shot).
I don't know what software you have access to, but if it includes LR5 or Photoshop CC/CS6, this should be fixable with a single mouse click in the appropriate checkbox on the Lens panel (in ACR in Photoshop) - there may be methods in other software, but I have no experience of them, so I cannot advise (but others may be able to, so do ask if you need to).
Hope that helps,
John, Ken, Binnur & Dave,
Thanks for your comments and suggestion.
