Looks OK to me artistically. A nicely balanced portrait of a couple of flowers.
looks great Mike!
Very, very nice....William...even the background match its beauty...
Ahh...can I change my vote on the salt thingy?
Awesome; please always consult Mike before making any self assessment
Very nice
Now that's better William. How are you lighting them?
I like the way the background complements the flower's coloring! Nice!

It's terribly complicated Grahame...I park them on the kitchen floor that has morning light blasting through the patio door. How are you lighting them
Does that door have material that is diffusing the light? Is something else diffusing the light? Are the flowers in a part of the room that has no direct light in the area and instead is subject only to reflected light? Or is it all of the above?
Whatever it is, it's great light for the flowers and very sharp of you to notice that characteristic.
Nice complimentary colour to the BG. Nice shot on all counts.
Living in Michigan we are accustomed to having cloud cover which does diffuse the light and, having white tile floors tends to give a lot of reflected light. I have discovered that clouds will screw-up the stacking process...tends to alter the exposures, gotta compensate in PP.
Ahem. Light being diffused by clouds isn't "blasting" anywhere, much less through a doorway.
Very nic Chauncey, the background colouring goes perfectly and artistically I find it very good
Cheers
