Dodging the rain
Nice set Scouse, which tells a story, it certainly looks a bit bedraggled in the first image. BTW has. Someone. Been using your weather vane for target practice 😉

Re: Dodging the rain
Little bugger does look damp, doesn't he?
Looks like '22 practice to me. I found it on an old collapsed barn in Oregon.

Re: Dodging the rain
Ken ... the first one is pitiful but nice and clear...the rest of your illustrated story is good...the second one is remarkable that the arrow pointing to the left is also the position of the bird's beak pointing the same way...you got a winner there...at least it know where the arrow is pointed. My brain is limited to someone pointing in a direction to "Over there!"

Nice set of images. Can't help feeling sorry for the little one.

Re: Dodging the rain
Thanks for the comments folk and from the wee birdies they appreciate your concern.
I felt sorry for them in the hail. Probably the equivalent of us being bombarded with cricket or baseball sized hail.
The guy on the weather vane knew which way he wanted to go Izzie. "South"
This guy got over it enough later to get aggressive in his posture, red means "Stay away"

Very nice, Ken.
Great pictures and I like the sequence of events.
