    Mann River HDR.

HDR image is of the Mann River, which is just off The Gwirder Highway about 50k's east of Glen Innes.

    Mann River HDR.

And this HDR is of the old convict tunnel dug by them, with pick & shovel, in the early 1800's. It's situated down the old Grafton Road, if you could call it a road, more like a goat track.

Thanks Bruce, what do you think of the convict tunnel?

Hi Edwin, the second image, in particular, makes excellent use of the HDR tonemapping technique. You can see detail in the depth of the tunnel and in the bright sunshine, very much like your eye sees it. Nicely done!

I like both a lot but especially like the image of the tunnel. I would like it even more if about three-fourths of the foreground was eliminated. The image itself without the digital frame works better for me as approximately an 8 x 10 aspect ratio rather than a 4 x 6 aspect ratio. (Sorry for the reference to standard American aspect ratios. I have no idea what standard aspect ratios are used elsewhere.)
