Is the uneasiness due to the quality of the shot or the clarity? I think the position of the bug or orientation of the image could help somewhat.
I don't think it's so much the way it was shot as it is what was shot. I'm just kind of nonplussed by the subject.
But then pictures of bugs never did much for me.
Now presented in a manner I can identify more quickly. With the first image, I'm thinking what is that, it looks like a.... with the rotated image I quickly assess that it is a bug and my mind can go on assessing the photo.
Brian - I always look forward to another 'bug' - perhaps your unease with this one is that it's not as close up as some of your previous ones.
