    It has been like that here as well, Brian, mostly dull with showers and a strong breeze; but it gives a little time to catch up on the processing backlog and updating the records. Even with insect photography there is so much paperwork!

    You have managed to nicely control the exposure in that shot.

    Talking of paperwork... Myra (my wife) bought me a book on insect identification and she thinks my shots are clearer. Suggests I put out my own book. I pointed out to her the small problem of not what the heck i am shooting.

    Not this time. I am not sure if grass has branches but it is what I would call a small thin bamboo branch that has fallen off and dried up. This is close to actual size for the diameter.
