Re: Trace of last summer
Just wondering about a 180 degree rotation; difficult to tell when I'm looking at it upside down though!
Or 90 degrees clockwise rotation and possibly a crop from what would become the bottom to make a square crop?

Re: Trace of last summer
Yes Brigitte, for some reason that appears to be a more pleasing view. Can't explain the logic though.

Very pretty, Gigi....I have always been on the look-out for some kind of leaves without the "leaves" during winter and don't want the manufactured ones I see at some art stores here. I can do many things with this if it is mine.

Re: Trace of last summer
Hi Brigitte,
I love the soft colours, detail and the delicate beauty you capture in this leaf. Like Izzie, I think this is a beautiful subject worth exploring.
I find the 1st image especially beautiful cropping a bit off of the right side, losing the stem of the first leaf and a bit of the leaf of the 2nd leaf because it creates a kind of reverse symmetry, and places focus on the beauty of those two leaves. The 2nd one brings a butterfly to mind.
