Unknown Species
While out tromping around today I came across this little butterfly/moth??? When it landed the underside of the wings were a very pale grey colour which made it difficult to see on the ground. When the wings were spread they were this beautiful blue colour. For size it was vey small, only about 1.5 centimetres. I was fortunate that when it landed it sat for quite awhile so I was able to get a few pics of it. These images are quit heavily cropped to try and show the detail of it.
Any c&c, feedback, or identification would be gratefully received.

Re: Unknown Species
Might also be an ADONIS BLUE Rita going by the wing edge markings. Nice shots.

Re: Unknown Species
Hi John, although it looks very similar the Adonis Blue, according to the link, is bigger than the one I posted. The info in the link gives the UK as the area for it. I am about 5000 miles away from there. I do appreciate your help though
