TapaTalk?

Not sure if this is really the right place for this question, so please bear with me.

When accessing CiC (and other forums) from my Android tablet I often get asked if I want to use TapaTalk to improve my experience.

Has anyone tried it, and what does it do?

Interesting, Dan. If better fit on a small screen is the up-side, what's the downside of using TapaTalk?

A downside using Tapatalk is that the voting-polls doesn't work. I'm forced to using the browser for that.

For simply viewing and responding to threads, it seems to work fine.

I find it useful because it alerts me on the Android mobile when someone sends me a PM and allows me to read it and see if it needs an urgent response.

As I only have a titchy screen, I tend not to use it for threads or responding to PMs, unless I am away from home.

Thank you gentlemen. I think I can manage without it on my tablet, a 10 inch one.

Dave, just for interest I have a Gmail address that I use for photo forums. That comes through on my Android phone too, and means I can keep up when I'm travelling.
