    19th century cemeteries in color

The area of Old Town in Alexandria, Virgina (USA) includes several adjacent plots of land where church cemeteries and a national military cemetery are located. All of them were established in the 19th century and at least one was established in its first decade. The photos in this thread were captured in the church cemeteries.

Monochrome photos of the cemeteries are displayed in this thread.

With #1 those shadows were a potential problem but you have managed to nicely use them as an important element of the scene.
