Remember those days of being cornered into watching someone's vacation/baby/wedding slideshows? You know, the ones with the OOF, tilted, upside-down, etc. pictures? I think I would prefer that to what this new technology will bring: OOF, up-and-down, bobbing, seasickness inducing hours of video, with the added bonus of background noise, stammering, running narratives and numerous awkward moments. The worst thing though, no need to have a give-away slide projector and screen, people will suck you in for drinks and snacks and then unveil it all upon their unsuspecting (and perhaps soon to be no longer) friends on their 60 inch LED TV. Oh the humanity.

I will never cease to be grateful this technology did not exist forty years ago when I was twenty. I shudder to think of the all the criminal, pornographic, soul shrinking stuff that could have been documented, posted, seen forever and never denied. I had to cull through my photo albums when my kids were born. Impossible to do that now.
