    Dan,

    Thank you very much for the information you have passed on. I will experiment more with the lighting for these and take the sensible course of action which would be to get the lighting right FIRST before taking and stacking all the shots and then deciding the lighting is rubbish.

    Unfortunately all hibiscus specimens around me at present are drowned from the heavy rain.
