    Hello Brian: You certainly have some interesting bugs and flowers in your part of the world. You must have a good eye to have spotted this fellow. With the exception of his blue dots, he does disappear into the leaf.

    He was near to eye level but I did have to go back and see if I saw what I thought I saw. There are indeed some interesting beasties here but you are close to Ottawa and there are some really strange beasts there. I think they are called senators and members of parliament? (I was born in Vancouver)

    But until it was pointed out to me I didn't realize the cricket was missing a leg. Got to sharpen up the eyes a little bit more.
