    Gator

Wife and I was out camping this past week, we have a 30ft RV. On 2nd day when I woke up and when out side, there was another person standing in the road looking at something in the ditch, when I ask what was going on was told there a Gator in there, sure enough By the time I ran back into our camper and got back out with my camera he was coming across the road and got a few pic's of him. Park Rangers where call and he was rounded up a bit later

Wow! That must have been a surprise to all the campers! Nice image, Paul. I would just consider cloning the half car out, if mine. It draws my attention a little. But nice anyway. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice image with a nice story You are lucky that it wasn't waiting for you in front of your car's door I agree with Otavio about cropping the car.

Those pesky critters. I like the mid-stride position of the feet that you captured in this shot.

When I still lived back in that part of the country, I ran over a similar sized gator while driving late one night. There was no water within at least half a mile of where I hit him. Most people don't realize how far away from water they will wander.

Good (and brave) capture. I think I might have run back to the camper - full stop.

I like that you included the car. It shows the immediacy of the alligator to humankind. Without the car, the gator could be on any path relatively in the middle of nowhere.

I was not really thinking about what was in or around him, had to hurry up he was on the move. I always said a shot better than no shot at all. Thanks all!
