Hi all. I have not posted on this forum for quite some time now, what with being very busy with my new job coupled with having to move countries etc, but I hope to get more active from here on in.
I was hoping for some feedback on the following image. I took it whilst waiting for the sun to go down because what I was really wanting was some nice long exposures. Because I got to my location several hours before the sunset, I tried to make get at least one or two decent shots but I found it very challenging because the sun was still very bright and no clouds could be seen. Yes, this was int he UK and I was struggling to believe that the sky was cloud free.
The following image was taken on Saturday, just gone from a wonderful location known as Durdle Door which is along the Jurassic Coast in Dorset.
Furthermore, I put this border around it for presentation purposes. Some people might like it, other will not. What do you think?
I managed a 3.2 second exposure with the use of an inexpensive ND8 filter, which was screwed onto my Sigma 10-20mm lens and using a Canon 60D.
Feedback is welcome.
