Ste Anne's Falls - Updated May 24, 2014
This is a shot taken with the GX7. I continued to practice with it over the weekend and am slowly getting the hang of it.
This shot is looking over the edge of the Ste Anne Falls, near Beapre, Quebec, Canada. The rivers are still quite high with large volumes of water from the spring run-off. I tried to get a shot that showed the flow of the water as it approached the edge of the falls.

I think that you have succeeded. That looks furious.

Re: Ste Anne's Falls
Wow, I immediately felt I was about to be swept over the falls. I like the turbulent appearance of the sky as well. Terrific image.

The unusual viewpoint makes this very interesting to explore.

Very nice and interesting composition Manfred I also like the colours very much. I hope you were standing on a safe place while shooting , the image looks as if it was taken from a place in the middle of the water

Re: Ste Anne's Falls
Nicely crisp flowing water; just the way I like to see it.

Most impressive when viewed full size. I like the way the lines in the water and the edge of the cliff lead the eye over the falls. Great composition, Manfred.
