    Hornet Wasp Macro

I found this Flying around our kitchen, Managed to capture it in a measuring beaker, Then took it outside for release.
But it desided to hang around. Went and grabbed my camera with macro lens, and took this, They are so huge, first one we have seen in the flesh so to speak it was around 25-28mm in length. This was straight out of camera, just a straight conversion from raw.

    Any comments welcomed.

Nice shot Dave, these are great subjects and I can also vouch for their sting when they decide the camera looks a threat. Look out for its nest

The viewpoint is clearly not ideal but that is beautifully sharp. Good image.
