Looks like being one of those situations where the required focus depth is more than the camera can achieve, Brian. At least not without stacking a couple of shots with different focus points.

But spiders aren't usually cooperative for multiple shots. As I know all too well!

It would certainly make an excellent photo if you can eventually manage to get everything focused together. The legs are working well; and exposure is good.
