In the garden today
Bit of a wet day here today, in fact it was hissing down! I doubt it was the best day for the Great Tit brood to leave the nest box. I suspect the Robin chicks will be about to leave their nest soon. Hopefully the Magpies won't find them.
Your comments, thoughts and critique are welcome. Including any suggestions on post processing. I have cropped and resized all of these prior to using smart sharpen on them.
I had the camera set to auto ISO to cope with the different lighting around the patio.

Re: In the garden today
I wonder about cropping slightly tighter on the height? Otherwise, excellent.

Re: In the garden today
Hello Peter: I think these images are excellent. The feather detail is nice and sharp. The composition and background in number 2 is particularly nice. Number 1 has an annoying white diagonal in the background, but that is more than made up for by the little fellow's forlorn expression.

Re: In the garden today
All three are excellent Peter an although I prefer a totally natural setting for birds, the colours and patterns in the third one are particularly pleasing.

Re: In the garden today
What I see on my screen are beautiful images. Very nicely exposed and sharp.
Don't fear going down to F11 to get a little more DOF.
#2 is the better one of the three, to me.

Re: In the garden today
I really like the first one and your caption says it all. What a pathetic little face. The face and concrete ledge has captured it all.

Lovely images. The 1st one for me. Beautiful detail and a moment that captured my heart.

Re: In the garden today
The first is a classic, Peter. The scrunched-up beak makes the chic seem terribly despairing of the world.

Very nice captures Peter. I can't help having a soft spot for no.1. Looks totally miserable.
