    The Rocks At Lands End

Way down at the Southern tip of the Baja Peninsular at Cabo San Lucas, there's this quiet peaceful beach. Far from the Madding Crowd.
My wife and I drove down from the top of Washington State near Canada. Some 8,000 miles round trip, counting side trips to deserted beaches and mountain springs.

To get to this beach one has to climb over a jumble of rocks some the size of houses. I went at first light one morning to catch the interesting, fantastical shape of the rocks. Imagining weird animals, scenes from Star Wars and what the mind could make of them.

Top of Lookout Mtn. This is where Sir Thomas Cavendish an English Captain and his crew waited for the amazingly rich Manila Galleon. The Black Ships sailed by here to resupply before heading to Cape Horn and Spain. Find the story on Google.

Thanks for the comments David, John, Peter and Binnur, appreciated.

I took these with my pocket point and shoot Oly John. Some may have a slight crop for effect but I don't remember any other PP. My PP is always simple stuff done in Picasa free from Google. Too old and lazy to spend the time playing with Photoshop.

Thanks Peter, always love the history of an area myself, went so far as to buy a book on the story.
