North Shore - St Lawrence River - Colour

A few colour images from a recent trip along the north shore of the St Lawrence River.

Beautiful colours. I particularly like the second image, great composition and contrast of the landscape and man-made dock.

Three good images, great colour in the third one. With very good sky in them all, it looks like a nice area to visit.

What a gorgeous area! All of these photos need to be viewed in the Lytebox to be fully appreciated, such as the great depth of field in the first one.

WOW, that is a beatiful area. All nice, Manfred, very good exposure and a spot on Post processing! Maybe I would consider cloning the half wooden wheel out, if mine (#3). It draws my attention a little, but that is absolutely minor. Great set. Cheers,

Interesting comment Otavio - There is already a part of the image that I cloned out (a rusty seat to the right of the wheel). When I took the wheel out (I had the same thought as you did), I found there was too much grass and the wheel actually broke the green up nicely, so I put it back. Perhaps something in the middle, where I leave it in, but tone it down.

    Thanks for the comment.

Beautiful. Gorgeous detail. I love your colours and skies, and especially the composition of the first image. The 3rd image is just wow! (detail, sky, colour)

Very nice compositions and colours Manfred I like the pale yellow (?) colour of trees in #1 very much.

I like the 2nd and 3rd but particularly the 2nd. That kind of composition, a framed perspective looking into an open expanse is liberating.

Yes - the spring is fairly late and the light yellow-green are the leaves just coming out. A very interesting look as it is not something that is really that one expects. They get larger and darken up within a week.
