Rollin, the yellow color knocks your socks off, but the green foliage pulls the eye. Additionally, what is causing the fuzziness at the bottom of the bottom petal?

Wm, the blurred end of the flower's petal is a mystery. I could not remove it, therefore I assume it was something in my layer mask that caused the problem. Shooting at 1/800, it is not lens blur leaving only depth of field since that portion of the image is furthest from the lens. As to background, it is a little busy but with some flowers I prefer subdued foliage in the background to give it depth. However you want black background I got black background, see attached second image of the Dutch IrisDutch Iris
