Nice image series. I'm more used to seeing wrecks underwater. I'm always amazed at how much more quickly they deteriorate on land.

What memories those images brought to my mind. I've been there (the shots on the Oregon Coast) a million times... How I wish I could walk those shores again. Thanks for the reminder. Excellent shots.

Evocative series Ken and interesting back story. Makes you realise how different navigation is in these days of radar and GPS.

I believe it was a GPS malfunction John.
Thanks for looking and commenting folks. Get back then Molly, it's still as beautiful as ever.
That was just after sunrise Greg, as the fog was lifting. Couple of hundred miles south of here on the pacific.
Funny that Manfred, something to do with oxidization..
