Thread: New to digital

    New to digital

    Kinda new to the digital world,I use it for wildlife and action stuff, but still hang on to my medium format and film 35s for most. trying to learn more electronics. Not sure I'm rady for new techs LOL

    Hi Gary - welcome to CiC. I made the transition to digital about 5 years ago after 30 years of shooting a Leica.

    Frankly, the basics have not changed; it's just that the cost per shot is not going to Kodak, Fuji, Ilford, etc. any more. Autofocus has changed my workflow quite drastically. but like anything, it takes some time to get used to it. Frankly the biggest change for me was going from the film to the digital darkroom.

    I use basically Nikon Fs and old Hassleblad 500cm and elm, the computers killing me
