    Student photo

This is one I mentioned to Colin in another thread. I would never have thought to place a green vase in green grass, but she made it work. This is her first photography class and was in the first set of pictures she turned in.

    Student photo

Colin graciously agreed to try to get the date stamp out of it. I had to give up due to time constraints.

A great lesson in what can be done. I often fix an image by cloning, because I don't pay enough attention to what's in the viewfinder, and I don't think I'd even have tried this one. Amazing.

    Cheers,

    Pops,

What was her assignment if any? A good example of patterns.

Thanks Sahil (and Rick) - it wasn't a perfect job, but hopefully good enough!

The assignment was one of my favorites. One object, small enough to be moved about by the photographer. During one session, take 12 shots and make each one show a different aspect, view or interpretation of that object.

    The first 4 are easy.

The next 4 take a little thought.

The final 4 can get really tough and make you think.

I think I previously showed one of the shots taken by a student last semester. The copper tea kettle?

Colin, regarding the removal job: Kati was thrilled and very pleased. She actually blushed brightly enough to light the room.
