Spider Mix

Three different Spiders, #1 is a Nursery Spider, #2 a Crab Spider, and i'm hoping someone knows what #3 is? I think it might be a Wolf Spider? The white thing behind her is her egg sack, this much i do know C&C Welcome...

#2 is standing really nicely on the pink petal David This one is different. It's head has an unusual shape and it has eyes at the top and bottom parts of the head Also not hairy at all , very soft look

From what I can see I would agree that #3 is a wolf spider: body typically robust, and eyes in three rows; 4 small eyes lowest, 2 large eyes middle and 2 smaller eyes above that.

For #2, David, have a look at Thomisus onustus female. Those 'ridges' around the eyes and abdomen shape seem to match. Like some other spiders in this group (such as Misumena vatia) females can change colour to suit their surroundings.

I'm seeing a lot of those Pardosa spiders (#3) running around in the undergrowth now, but few have the time to pose for a photo.

And most of the females are carrying egg sacs on their hind legs, just like this one. When the eggs finally hatch the spiderlings will climb onto her back for a few days.

Cheers Geoff, I will have a look later, yes the Pardosa? ones are everywhere at the moment, and like you suggested, they don't like posing for you I chased this girl for ages before i managed a half decent capture
