Helpful Posts: Took this of son at his ballgame this weekend. He made a nice play on the ball but the ball was hit just a little to hard for him to handle. Everyone loved his effort. The pants are a little blown out but I was glad that the focus was pretty good.

Just flat amazing
Seeing the ball in the glove while the glove is off the hand shows he has the basic skills for the position but just hasn't grown into the physical strength yet.
He should not be embarrassed and you should be proud to have caught the shot.

Great shot, right down to the one shoe untied. Keep your fingers crossed he goes pro, this shot would be worth a fortune.

You should be ashamed, Steve, for blaming the issue on a ball that is too hot to handle. It's clear from your very own photo that if you had insisted that your son use more eye black, he would have caught the ball.
