Durdle Door - Competition #1932 Winner
Thank you to all who voted for my recent Landscape shot - Durdle Door which I entered into the mini competition - Mini Competition #1932
I visited this wonderful location the other weekalong the Jurassic Coast, Dorset in order to snap some sunset shots. I already opened a thread showing one of my shots taken whilst the sun was still strong - Durdle Door
But I really wanted to talk about this one.
I took this shot after the sun had been down for almost one hour, therefore, it was getting quite dark.
I set my Canon 60D to ISO 100, F/22 and took 5 long exposures, ranging from 20 seconds to 70 seconds, totalling 231 Seconds.
Using PhotoMatrix, I created this HDR. I saved the TIFF file and opened it up in PS CS6. where I made some adjustments to the detail, tonal contrast and colour cast using NIK Color Effex Pro 4.
Here is the result.
CC always welcome.
Regards.

On the right side at the base of the cliffs there are a couple of very small bright spots. Lights? I would clone them out.
Also a couple of spots in bottom left corner but these aren't so bright.

I like the mood this one conveys.
Maybe a bit more light and structure to the rocks..?

Nicely composed and the soft tones are very calming. Couple of nitnoids as pointed out by others but overall a nice image. Good job.
