Hi! I am the Galápagos Sea Lion. Humans say I'm majestic!


I'm a friendly creature. What do I like most? Sleeping!! I can do it for several hours a day!


Over the millennia, my feet evolved to powerful fins!


Thanks to this evolution bless, I am a high skilled swimmer...


...and I can stay under the water for minutes!


Of course, I still can walk! Nice, ain't?


But don't think I am a teddy bear. Look at my teeth...


...with them, I hunt my preys...


...and make them bleed till death!


But I am not a bad guy. Just don't mess with me, ok? That's all, folks! Tchau!

Great shots (again) Otavio, and a very good primer on the natural history of sea lions; there's a reason they're called sea lions and not sea pussy cats. I'm liking the last one the best, but #1 is also a great shot, especially with the crabs paying homage.
